When Lauren and Ravi first reached out to me, they were planning a big 3-day “HindJew” wedding (Lauren is Jewish and Ravi is Hindu). It sounded extravagant and like so much fun. But as time went on, they realized the big wedding was actually not what they wanted, they just wanted it to be about the two of them and their love. They went back and forth on places to elope. Ravi was born in the UK so they decided, “heck let’s elope in London.” When they told me they decided they were going to elope there I was beyond excited.
They exchanged their vows at the beautiful Old Marlyebone Town Hall, just the two of them, the officiant, and Lauren’s best friend as witness who happens to live in London. It was perfect. Before their ceremony, they got drinks at The Landmark London. After the ceremony, they rented a vintage car and driver to drive them around some of the infamous London landmarks so we could take photos. It was a typical cloudy and rainy day in London, and the vibes were immaculate.
The details from this day were perfect and intimate. Lauren ordered a custom made dress from an amazing designer on Etsy, and added the special touch of a red ribbon on the back to match Ravi’s red velvet jacket. This talented bride also custom made her own necklace and bracelet.
